The Virtute cricket bat is crafted for a lighter weight finish. This result is suitable for junior cricketers as it allows for shot development as well as shot reward. All bats crafted are from full size clefts as Bradbury do not buy junior size cefts. The same care and attention to detail goes into the Virtute as the developing player deserves a good start in the game. The shape can best be described as an allrounder with generous edges, concaving to keep finished weights low and a long middle. Forgiving for an occasional miss hit, yet rewarding for a well timed stroke. The face of the bat is flatter than the traditional style bat, allowing for more size to be left in the edge. The Virtute is only available in the junior sizes due to the robust design that offers light weight options.
The handle shape is a subtle oval for the bottom hand, and round for the top hand. Gripped with the white Bradbury matrix grip, the labels are a new blue and gold detail. The Virtute junior bat is available in Size 6, 5, 4 and Size 3. Two grades are the Pro XI and Pro V.
