Warranty

Bradbury Cricket Warranty Policy

Bradbury Cricket craft quality cricket bats and offer a 6-month warranty on standard range cricket bats, which excludes factory 2nd items. Warranty is offered against manufacturing faults from the date of dispatch.

Factory 2nd bats are offered without a warranty, and completing purchase of a factory 2nd item is an acceptance that there is no warranty on the item.

This Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing faults only
  • Applies to bats used under normal playing conditions and in accordance with bat care guidelines.
  • Warranty claims require proof of purchase.

Important: This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by improper care. Bats are made from natural materials (willow & cane) and will naturally deteriorate over time.

Warranty will be void if:

Unauthorised Repair:

  • Attempting to make modifications (including weight reductions) may weaken the integrity of the product and will void the warranty. Always contact Bradbury Cricket first.
  • Fitting a resin based “hard toe” to the bat will void warranty
  • Any repair by a third party must be agreed to in writing prior to work being carried out (this will be considered authorisation).

Inappropriate Use or Neglect:

  • Damage from heavy use, misuse, or failing to follow care instructions
  • Using the bat in unfavourable conditions (wet pitches, poor quality balls etc).

Soft Areas of the Bat:

  • Bats are pressed for performance, but certain areas (edges, back) remain softer. Any accidental damage caused by improper use is not covered under warranty.

Warranty Fair Use Policy

  • Every bat is assessed based on its level of use during the warranty period.
  • If a bat shows clear signs of significant wear, fatigue, or deterioration from normal play, it may not qualify for a warranty claim. Normal use includes 2 net sessions of batting no longer than 20 minutes, and one batting innings during match play per week.
  • Bradbury Cricket reserves the right to refuse repair or replacement if the bat does not meet warranty conditions.
